|Title||Old Pearisburg Hotel Deed|
|Dates of Creation||June 3, 1892|
|Scope & Content||Property deed dated June 3, 1892 that conveys the "Old Pearisburg Hotel" [known at the Central Hotel in 1892] from the John H. Bane heirs to Jesse H. Woodram, who had purchased the property from James O'Keefe and others on October 1880 (see Accession# 1960.2.6). A chancery suit filed in June 1883 (accession no. 1960.2.4) and settled on June 14, 1883 in the Giles county Circuit Court confirmed that the Bane heirs had received full payment for the Pearisburg Hotel which had been purchased from them on January 5, 1866. This document seems to give a clear title to this property now owned by Jesse H. Woodram.|
