Scope & Content "The Rose of No Man's Land", sheet music by James A. Brennan, lyrics by Jack Caddigan and published by Leo Feist of New York. The song was written as a tribute to the work of Red Cross nurses who served during the First World War, often under dangerous conditions. The 1918 Feist edition is in a Patriotic format (four pages at 7 by 10 inches, to conserve paper) and has a French lyric (La rose sous les boulets) by Louis Delamarre.
