Title trust deed
Dates of Creation March 4, 1847
Scope & Content This trust deed was made by John Harkerider to David H. Gish, William Gish, and Abraham Vinyard to secure two bonds that Harkerider made to William Gish in the amount of $97.52 and Abraham Vinyard in the amount of $47.00, both of which were past due.
Harkerider agrees to put up his tobacco crop, horse, two cows, 11 hogs, and all his household goods as security for this bond. David Gish is acting as the trustee and holder of the goods until the debt is paid. If not settled by March 4, 1849, all the property is to be sold to pay the debt.
