Scope & Content This a part of a land grant deed to property on Wolf Creek, a branch of the Roanoke River in Botetourt County, Virginia, containing 88 acres and being adjacent to John McAdoo and James Hill property. The metes and bounds are listed. The document is signed by Benjamin Harrison, Governor of Virginia. A portion of this document seems to be missing.
The land owner named on the back of the document is Christopher Winear. This seems to the same person known as Christopher Vinyard and this same 88 acre tract is mentioned in other deeds involving the Vinyard family.
