Title Letter from Joseph Dickenson

Scope & Content This is a letter from Joseph P. Dickenson, Administrator of P. Dickenson estate, addressed to an unknown person stating the Franklin County Clerk was asked to issue a "Ca Sa against Benj. Bird" and send it to you by mail. He is asking this document be executed on Bird and that they also take "Raymond Hall as security on a delivery bond". The letter was dated 27 April, 1840 in Franklin County, Virginia.
