Scope & Content This school daybook covers the students and their days of attendance at Lafayette, Montgomery County, Virginia and was kept by the teacher Buford Wills, of Franklin County, Virginia. Wills also recorded weather and other events on the day they occurred in this record. This is similar to Object ID 1965.21.10 which covered the previous year 1844. Wills also kept accounts of the pay he received from the parents of his students in 1845 =$350.14
