Scope & Content Land survey as part of law suit in Botetourt County Superior Court between Jonathan Evans, plaintiff, and Samuel Paffly, dated August 30, 1816, regarding a boundary dispute based on a 400-acre grant to Mark Evans dated September 1748 (with claim of descent through his heirs) and a 110-acre conveyance by deed from William McClanahan to Samuel Paffly dated December 13, 1796. Plat and survey made by William Anderson, SBC. Includes a survey plat map.
