Title Lynhaven Smoke Shop
Description This photocopy of an original photograph shows the interior of the Lynhaven Smoke Shop located at 125 North Henry Street, Roanoke, Virginia. The caption on the front of the picture reads " Lynhaven Smoke Shop, 125 N. Henry St. (Since 1924) Roanoke, VA, G.W. Marshall, Prop., Dial 2-9671". There are six Black men in the picture and most are dressed in top coats, suits and hats. One man sits at a shoe shine stand and appears to be holding a newspaper or magazine. Another man stands next to the jukebox to the left of the entrance, and two men stand in front of the counter. There are two men behind the counter with cigars and alcohol in the showcase. A note on the back of this photocopy states that the original photograph is located at WBRA TV studios in Roanoke, Virginia.
