Randolph-Macon Woman's College is a liberal arts college in Lynchburg, Virginia founded in 1891and has ties to the United Methodist Church. It was the first women's college to earn a Phi Beta Kappa charter in 1916. In 2007 it was renamed Randolph College when it became coed. The wisteria in bloom on the front of the Main Hall is a springtime delight to visitors on campus. Main Hall is the original college building and forms the center of the college quadrangle, and contains administrative offices, classrooms, dining hall, parlors, and dormitory space. |
