Letter headed Roanoke, Va, , Jan. 6th, 1910, Friday to Susie Preston from William Robertson responding to a letter she has recently sent about her trip to Ivy [Virginia] and has now returned to Stuart Hall [a girl's school] "where you can work and make a name for yourself, as I'm sure you are going to do." He makes remarks about resolutions, the best thing is to resolve in your heart to do right as far as possible, but our desire to do wrong is the battlefield where we struggle with our interselves to do right. Part of this letter may be missing, as there is no signature at the end. |
