A handbill celebrating the fiftieth Anniversary of Roanoke, Virginia from Edward L. Stone, President of the Stone Printing and Manufacturing Company, located at 116-132 North Jefferson Street in Roanoke, Virginia. "Greetings, to the Citizens of Roanoke, no mean city and the surrounding territory" This handbill has two blanks so one could fill in their name as sender and to whom the Greeting was sent. There is a description of Stone Printing Corporation at the bottom. "Operating under original Charter granted by Judge Harry E. Blair of the Circuit Court of Roanoke County, signed in Salem, Virginia, July 25th, 1883. Roanoke secured its City Charter, January, 1884." |
