A photograph of "Cocke-Spur", the Orchard Hill residence of Mr. Lucian Hayward Cocke and Sarah (Johnson) Hagan Cocke, his wife, during the May 4, 1914 reception for Vice President and Mrs.Thomas R. Marshall. Police officers are posted along the sidewalk in front of the residence and the reception can be seen in the background. This photograph appears on page 13 of a scrapbook titled "Cocke-Spur" formerly owned by Sarah (Johnson) Hagan Cocke. |
