A note from Delevan Bates to Bernard informing him that he received the maps, pictures, and circulars. He comments that the circulars are good as they pertain to both Confederate and Union soldiers. He thinks that all of Bernard's books will be sold. He enclosed money for one copy of "War Talks of Confederate Veterans" to be sent to H. Robinson. He finishes his note by wishing Bernard financial success in his publication. |
