Letter headed "Glencary Saturday morning" from Emma Gilmer Breckinridge to her daughter, Lucy G. Breckinridge at Grove Hill, probably delivered by hand. Emma was visiting the Springs and sending letters home to her children during this time period. Tells of being ill, but improving and "riding over to the Springs this morning. The Dr got some bath tickets for us yesterday." Emma has long list of items she wants sent from Grove Hill to Mary Ann Breckinridge Woodville and misses the children and hopes they will do well in their studies. |
