Letter from John Watts to his brother William Watts, in Botetourt County, Virginia, saying that he hired out a slave, Bob, to Mr. Carnes, and is negotiating a land purchase with Mr. Gilliat, thinking Burton's land unavailable; also gives news of William's son Edward, at school, and sends compliments from his wife, Elizabeth (Roberts) Watts.
