[Mary Ann Anthony] tells of Mary's desire to write a lot of news, but it has all evaporated from her mind, expresses concern about Francis' father who is very ill, a long portion of girlish remarks about their common friends, a small effort at poetry, and closes with news of the death of a 12 month old child and attending the funeral and the great sorrow she felt for the mother. |
