1. Administration Building - Mary Baldwin College was established in 1842 as Augusta Female Seminary. It is a private, independent 4-year liberal arts women's college in Staunton, Virginia. Mary Baldwin became principal in 1863 and was renamed Mary Baldwin Junior College in 1916. The name was changed to Mary Baldwin College when it became a 4-year college in 1923.
