   Letter headed "Edge Hill November 16th 1841" from Mary Peachy Gilmer to her mother Mary Gilmer at Hardin's Tavern, Albemarle, Virginia, asking for her mother to send a poem she had placed in a book so she could read it in one of her lessons. Also mentions that Miss Cary's child had 28 fits today and they thought the child had died on several occasions, but it is better now.
