  2. Letter from Millie to Mary Breckinridge - March 18, 1848

    This letter headed "March 18th In Miss Willis room" from Millie (a school friend) to Mary Breckinridge (no address on this letter). The greeting is to Dear "Gus" which was a nickname for Mary, telling of events at Mrs. Mead's school in Richmond where Mary had previously attended, mentions many people by first name only, class work and history compositions to be written, asks Mary to write.
