    Letter headed "May 21, 1842" from E. Mosely in Woodford County, Kentucky to Emma Breckinridge in Botetourt, by the politeness of Mrs. Shanks, tells of Mosely's ill health and desire to see her family again and mentions a letter describing an unusual scene with bloody clothes and a broken comb. Closes with a postscript saying she is sending Mary's 3 letters sealed and are for Emma's eyes only, as they are about family matters.
