6. John Allen Watts House - A black and white photograph of the John Allen Watts House located 116 Mountain Avenue SE, in the Orchard Hill area of Roanoke, Virginia. The photograph was taken around 1913 after remodeling. The house was later owned by Abram P. Staples, who married Jean Watts, the daughter of J. Allen Watts. The house was also known as the Watts-Staples House. The house was razed in the 1960s to make way for the Roanoke Community Hospital located on Elm Street.
