3. South Roanoke Baptist Church, circa 1953 - A color photograph of the old South Roanoke Baptist Church on the corner of 25th Street and Carolina Avenue. The photograph was taken during the winter, sometime between 1950 and 1955. The church is a one-room building with a portico all along the front with steps leading up to the yellow-painted double doors. Residential houses can be seen on either side in the background.
