The business office was located in the building with the tower. Central Manufacturing Company succeeded John Kefauver & Son Manufactory in the 1890s. The license plates on the vehicles indicate that the photograph was taken in 1924. In the photograph, the first man on the left in a kneeling position is identified as John W. McBride, grandfather of the donor. Mr. McBride was born November 7, 1866, and died November 10, 1943. He worked with this business until 1927.
