   A letter to the City Manager, Mr. W. F. Hunter, from H. W. Hobson. Pertains to the poor condition of sidewalk on Hamilton Terrace near Mr. Hobson's residence and would like it to be maintained during inclement weather. Letter written on letterhead of Roanoke City Mills. The Roanoke city directory for 1918 lists Mr. Hobson's address as 1418 Hamilton Terrace SE, and that he hold the position of Secretary with Roanoke City Mills.

3. Removal of Streetcar Rails and Ties, 1948 - A black and white photograph of a workman and his truck, taken in 1948 at the base of Mill Mountain, between Hamilton Terrace and Belleview Avenue (near Roanoke Memorial Hospital). The man is removing the streetcar rails and ties because busses have replaced the streetcars for transportation. The rails and ties can be seen in the background, behind his truck.
