9. Photograph Album - This is a souvenir photo album from the Jamestown Exposition of 1907. It was owned by Mrs. Sue Cook, the donor's aunt. The covers are made of leather and the pages inside are made of felt. The pages and covers are tied together with a leather string. The front cover features a picture of a flower drawn in brown ink. The word "PHOTOS" is printed at the top of the front cover in brown ink, and "JAMESTOWN EXPOSITION-1907-" is inscribed on the bottom. Small photographic portraits have been cut out in geometric shapes and pasted to the pages inside. Most of the photographs are albumen prints, one appears to be cut from a magazine, and one is a cyanotype. Most of the portraits are of young ladies. The cyanotype shows men and women at an outdoor meal. Three ladies were later identified by their first names written in blue ballpoint pen ink next to their photographs. The names are Sue, Mildred, and Jane.
