    A color postcard of City Auditorium in Roanoke, Virginia, postmarked January 21, 1924. The building was built in 1916 and was located across from the N&W passenger station, now additional parking for the Hotel Roanoke. The American Legion acquired the former city auditorium in 1947 and provided needed upgrades. Unfortunately the building burned in 1957.

    An unused color postcard of Greene Memorial Methodist Episcopal Church in Roanoke, Virginia. Greene Memorial United Methodist Church was founded in 1859 and the present Gothic stone church was erected in 1892 on Second Street SW, between Luck Avenue and Church Avenue. This postcard was printed by E. C. Kropp Company, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
