    This letter headed "Sept 12th 1851" from P. G. (Peachy Gilmer) Breckinridge to his mother, Emma Breckinridge, at Fincastle in Botetourt County, Virginia, telling of receiving her letter and package of clothes, asking about various kinfolk, asking that Cousin Letty Watts write to him promptly, bemoaning the fact that his mother had not sent a cake in the package with his clothes.
