1. Baseball player - Two black and white photographs of Glenn H. Lemon wearing the baseball uniform of the Virginia Bridge & Iron Company. He was a student at the time. Summer baseball games were plentiful in the Roanoke, Virginia area when this photograph was taken in the mid 1920s. In addition to Virginia Bridge, teams were fielded by Walker Machine & Foundry Corp., Norfolk & Western Railway Co., Times-World Corp., Viscose, Appalachian Power Company, and the towns of Salem and Vinton. Many of the games were played at Maher Field. Lemon resided with his family at 109 McClanahan Place in the City of Roanoke, the setting for this photograph. Mill Mountain can be seen in the background.

2. Correspondence - November 30, 1928

   Correspondence from Junius B. Fishburn using Times-World Corporation letterhead, to S. H. McVitty of Salem, Virginia. This seems to be an informal letter with some jovial remarks as well as current happenings known by the two men. Mr. Fishburn includes several items with this letter.
