National Exchange Bank |
Description |
A photographic negative of the interior of the old First National Exchange Bank, located on the southwest corner of Jefferson Street and Campbell Avenue, taken prior to remodeling in 1924. Roanoke’s first "modern" bank building, constructed in 1913, is an example of Academic Classicism and reminds of the city’s history as a banking center. This is the negative. For the print, see Object ID 1981.63.3. |
