On Jefferson Street, in the left of the photograph, are the Norfolk & Western Office buildings. In the distance can be seen St. Andrews Catholic Church and the High Street Baptist Church. Behind the hotel is the Roanoke Civic Center. In the lower right hand corner is the Morgan Eubank building. There is a brick entrance and exit to the underpass walkway going under the tracks. There are two advertising billboards next to the ramp. Tinker Mountain and Read Mountain are visible in the background. |
