Eastbound freight, Y6, #2191, with engineer waving, passes to right on main line. This photograph from the cab roof of Class M locomotive 429 as the train waited for time freight NO. 88 to pass. Link's presence atop the cab was apparently noticed by the engineer of Class Y6a locomotive 2161 at the head end of the freight, who told his fireman to have a look, for both men are waving to the Abingdon Branch engine crew. |
