Description |
This toy doll's handmade overcoat is a companion piece to the dress in the previous record. This dress was made in 1850 by Magdalene Beyer when she was a child, and measures 13" long. The overcoat consists of blue, cotton material adorned with white lace and faded, navy velvet on the cuffs, along with faded, navy velvet ties on the front and white, satin ribbon on the back. The condition of this piece is very good, although there appears to be soiling to the lace collar. |
