Description |
Small, blue plastic radio with red dials and white tab. Circa 1930-1949, American. The radio has an Art-Deco-type design. There is a large red dial imprinted with numbers 65 through 160. Beneath the dial is "DETROLA." Beneath this is another smaller red dial which sits above a white tab like structure. The reverse of the radio has a heavy cardboard with various sized openings for the four radio tubes housed behind it. Printed on the cardboard is the following: "DETROLA PEE-WEE, 110 VOLT, A.C. D.C., License Notice On Reverse Side, No. 52199." There are two brown, cloth covered wire cords coming from the radio. |
