   Laughton writes Bernard that he is referring to a list of casualties he had sent him, and that he may see if any of the Grays (Company in the12th Virginia) were injured May 2, 1863, as he (Laughton) has no way of knowing. He saw in an advertisement in the Rural Messenger that John E. Cook's books are selling at fifty cents a copy. Laughton fears that Bernard will have to reduce the price of his book.
