    Letter from Keith Pritchard, Associate City Editor of the Richmond Times-Dispatch, to O. Winston Link. The letter references copies of several articles published in the paper following Mr. Link's visit to the Virginia General Assembly at which he was honored for his work photographing steam locomotives in the 1950's.

14. O. Winston Link Truck Number two. Square truck for carrying lighting equipment - hand held flashbulb. Black metal with metal clasps at corners and lock. Handle - originally leather - wrapped in black electrical tape (FRAGIlE) stickers on outside. Inside same as trunk number one: one bulb screen, 1 towel, six green belts with metal clasp for fastening equipment, one metal hand held adjustable bulb head and one long black rope with metal light switch.

20. Abingdon Branch Train No. 202 waiting to enter the Main Line. - Eastbound freight, Y6, #2191, with engineer waving, passes to right on main line. This photograph from the cab roof of Class M locomotive 429 as the train waited for time freight NO. 88 to pass. Link's presence atop the cab was apparently noticed by the engineer of Class Y6a locomotive 2161 at the head end of the freight, who told his fireman to have a look, for both men are waving to the Abingdon Branch engine crew.
