2. Bullet Mold - This is a Confederate bullet mold capable of molding eight bullets at once. It has wooden handles with a brass interior. It was found at Harper's Ferry. Soft lead was melted to use in these bullet molds. Seven of the molds form Minié balls, which are conical shaped bullets. The eighth mold makes a larger-caliber musket ball.
