Wasena Bridge--1912 - Wasena Bridge, built in 1911, spanning the Roanoke river and the Virginian Railroad tracks is pictured in 1912. The old bridge abutments seen in the river were for the Roanoke Iron Works narrow gage railroad spanning the river. This view is similar to 1990.69.1013.
