Certification - December 17, 1773
Certification to the Surveyor of Fincastle County from Governor Dunmore in Williamsburg, December 17, 1773, that Alexander Waugh was entitled to 2,000 acres for war service under the terms of his Majesties Proclamation of 1763. Waugh transferred the warrant to William Preston, December 6, 1774, witnessed by Aaron Palfreman. Preston assigned 1,000 acres to John Floyd by endorsement on January 18, 1775.

Certification to the Surveyor of Fincastle County from Governor Dunmore in Williamsburg, February 10, 1774, that Thomas Gist, representative for Christopher Gist and Nathaniel Gist, both deceased, is entitled to 6,000 acres in Fincastle County or the Western waters under the Proclamation of 1763.
