A merry Christmas
A Merry Christmas Card sent to Miss Reba Frensler/Fransler. The front shows a flower covered bell with pinecones and pinebranches around it with ribbons and white flowers in the rest of the space. Not all of the message on the back is clear, but someone is clearly asking Miss Reba to come home. The card is sent from Winchester and/or Charlottesville to Winchester.

Letter dated October 8, 1819 from E. (Elizabeth?) Trist, at Ridgeway, postmarked Charlottesville, to Mrs. Mary Gilmer, in Liberty, Bedford County, Virginia. Refers to sale of land in Henry County, crops, neighbors, and family.
